Rockstar's Enhanced update basically bricked modding for anyone still relying on OpenIV. The main issue is that most legacy tools are still hunting for the original executable, which causes pathing errors and broken ASI loading. Found this utility that handles the environment patching without nuking your game files permanently.
Modding Logic
The tool creates a legacy-compatible bridge for the game executable and updates the OpenIV application.xml to point to the correct paths. It essentially spoofs the environment so your mod loader and OpenIV think they are looking at a standard build, while you keep the Enhanced version assets.
