Installation Instructions:​

1. Start by downloading the SOTFmenu.zip file version 0.7.7.

3. Inside the extracted folder, you'll find a folder named "SOTFmenu." You can place this folder wherever you prefer.
4. Navigate to the "SOTFmenu" folder and run the "SOTF Copy Folder.exe" application. This will automatically copy the "SOTF" folder from the "Copy" folder to your Documents folder. Alternatively, you can do this manually if you prefer.
5. Launch the "Edit Menu Config.exe" application and configure the game's .exe path if it's different from the default Steam location.
6. [Optional] Modify the default open/close key and show/hide terminal window settings in the "config.ini" file located in the same folder.

Updating from Version 0.7.7 to a New Version: To update to a new version, simply replace the existing "SOTFmenu.dll" file with the new one provided.

How to Use:​

1. Run the "Launch SOTF Mod Menu.exe" application to start the game with the Mod Menu. It's advisable to have Steam already open before running this.
2. The default key to open the menu is "P."

Important Notes:​

• Be aware that overlay programs like MSI Afterburner/RTSS may interfere with the menu. The menu automatically attempts to close these programs upon loading, but you should manually close similar programs if you encounter issues.
• When you open the mod menu for the first time, your cursor may become stuck in the center of the screen. To resolve this, press the Windows key or use Alt+Tab to switch out of the game, then click back into the game.
• Avoid opening the menu while actively moving or performing actions in the game, as your character may continue to perform actions. If this happens, simply press the corresponding direction key or spam the WASD keys to regain control.
• Set the game to run in borderless window mode, as running it in fullscreen mode may lead to crashes, and you won't be able to change the resolution while in-game.
• During the installation process, make sure the "Copy" folder remains in the same directory as "SOTF Copy Folder.exe," and the "SOTF" folder must always be in the Documents folder.
• Keep the "Launch SOTF Mod Menu.exe" application in the same folder as "SOTFmenu.dll."

Please note that using this mod in multiplayer mode is confirmed to work, but there is a risk of a potential ban from online usage on public servers, and the responsibility for such actions falls on the user.
