Beginner questions

Hi everyone

I'm new on this forum
wich i found very nice, with a lot of interesting things.
I'm personnally more interested in unreal engine part for now, and i'm very happy to share this passion with some members of this forum.

I wanted to creat this thread to give an idea in how to start in this forum.

I've been a 3d artist for a while. but i'm pretty new to unreal engine development. and i find this forum and what the members share really useful to learn and advance in my learning.

I understood that in order to have access to certain links you need to have a certain number of reactions.

what i don't know, and would like to know, is how to be able to react to other people's posts myself. because i've looked hard and found nothing.

If it's a function that an administrator has to unlock in order to use it. is there a thread to request access to this option? do you have to ask? what are the conditions if there are?

I'm sorry to ask this, but being new to this forum. I've been trying to find a thread explaining how the "reaction" system works. but I haven't found anything.
and i was hoping to use this post as a place to discuss this topic. so that i can not only understand how it works, but also that it can be useful to others.

You need to garner reactions from other users. To give reactions, you must pay $30 for 6-months of Premium. So basically, you don't have to pay, but you must make post on here and get likes.

The reaction system is based on the system of "you must give for what you to take", it means that you can't just go around and download some stuff, some stuff that may appear interesting, fascinating or relatively needed will require reactions or at least an amount of days spent on the forum.
Farming reactions from posts and threads is the only way to gather some in order to unlock some posts that are potentially useful, to remedy that users started creating new accounts and react on a post made by their main account, usually if you got caught doing that you would be permanently banned. Now this issue has been fixed.
TL;DR: Be sure that if you share useful assets with our community, you will be able access other assets here as well on any thread/section.
