Epic Games Store has started a new free giveaway for fans of unusual adventures and beautiful indie games. From April 17 to April 24, 2025, you can add the charming puzzle game Botanicula to your library for free. This game comes from the creators of the legendary Machinarium and Samorost, the Czech studio Amanita Design.

What is Botanicula and why should you try it?​

Botanicula is a cozy adventure game filled with humor and atmospheric moments. You'll control five little tree creatures who embark on a journey through their native tree. Their goal? To save the last remaining seed from evil parasites that have infected their home. The game is built as a classic point-and-click adventure where you need to explore locations, solve puzzles, and help your cute heroes overcome obstacles. Recently, Amanita released a new game called Chuchel, I recommend checking it out if you liked Machinarium and Botanicula.

How and where to get the game for free in EGS?​

Getting the game for free in the Epic store is very simple:

1. Go to Epic Games Store (through the launcher or website).
2. Log into your account.
3. Find Botanicula or

5. The game will now permanently remain in your library.

Important note: the Botanicula giveaway is available not only on PC but also on mobile devices. You can get it on Android and iOS, though only for users from the European Union. To do this, you need to install the Epic Games mobile app.
