What is DMA?
DMA (literally “Direct Memory Access”) is a device that allows various components of your computer, such as network cards, sound or hard disks, to directly transfer data to and from memory, bypassing the processor. This means that the processor doesn't waste its time transferring data and can do something else, such as performing more important calculations. The bottom line is that DMA helps speed up data transfers and improves overall system performance. This is especially cool for all sorts of applications that require fast data transfer or real-time operation, such as video and audio streaming, gaming, or processing large amounts of data.
How are cheats and DMAs related?
DMA cards started making a lot of noise in the cheat community a few years ago, when people found out that there is a thing that allows you to bypass such strong anti-cheats as BattlEye, Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), Vanguard and other driver ACh.
