Interactive maps of Escape from Tarkov locations: keys, rooms, bases

About Escape from Tarkov
Escape from Tarkov is a super realistic action-shooter with MMO/RPG elements from Russian developers Battlestate Games. You play as a military man from a private military company, who is thrown into one of the locations, from where you need to take out as much loot as possible, and most importantly - to survive, to leave the map. Of course, on your way you will be hindered by "wild" - bots, other "PMCs" - real players, but besides them there are enough dangers here.Locations in Escape from Tarkov (tarkov streets, reserve, customs)
The game is full of maps of varying complexity and scale, I suggest going through the list to understand where to play for a beginner, make a brief description for each of them:- factory (The area of the production facility where you will probably start your journey in Tarkov, as it is the smallest location in the game. Loot is plentiful here, but it will probably have to be taken from other PMCs, because the density of players here is maximum and the time to get out is at least half as long as on other maps);
- ground zero (A bright, open map, which is not the case with the previous one. Here you will also have to run around, because this is the business centre of Tarkov, all the starting quests are done at the Ground Zero. This is where the whole storyline will start after the official release of the game this year);
- customs (A section of the factory territory with a customs terminal and other infrastructure. There is also a dormitory, where fierce battles are constantly taking place. Most newcomers settle here: there is a lot of junk for shelter, a lot of weapons, through the whole map there is a road that divides the location into several parts, thanks to it is easy to navigate);
- interchange (This is a strategic place that was used by the Ministry of Emergency Situations as the main evacuation base. In the middle stands a large shopping centre "Ultra", where you can find loot for all tastes, both for shelter and equipment);
- woods (Open map with a lot of woods and hilly terrain, where it is convenient to hide both you and other PMCs who want to kill you. This is where players first encounter mines, the forest is full of dangerous places that are best avoided);
- shoreline (A large part of the suburb of Tarkov, where there is a village, abandoned houses, petrol station and weather station. The main site is the large sanatorium Azure Coast. Here as in the forest is full of minefields, to which is added a new danger in the form of border snipers);
- reserve (Secret base, which contains many years of provisions. A large location both outside and underground, where there are huge mazes of basements, bunkers. By the way, from the reserve you can leave by train, which arrives ~15 minutes before the end of the raid);
- streets of tarkov (The central part of the city of Tarkov with hotels, banks, shops. The only map duration which is as long as 50 minutes, which is on average 10 more than other raids. Be careful, there are a lot of claymores - stretch marks, which will quickly send you back to the cache);
- lighthouse (The lighthouse was an important strategic facility of the city and remains the most dangerous and the most sniper-friendly map in the entire game. Here you will have to fight at long range in an almost completely trapped location);
- the lab (The Terra Group Labs underground laboratory complex is a classified facility under the centre of Tarkov, which cannot be accessed easily. Access to the labs requires a key card, which can be found in the pockets of the wild ones, file cabinets, crafted, or traded from merchants);
- labyrinth (Accessible only when travelling from the shoreline, here you will find a variety of traps, puzzles, and unique bosses Killa and Tagilla).
Locations and loot maps
When you just start your journey through the regions of Norvinsk, the first and most important thing you need to learn is to leave the location. Otherwise, you will just get the status "missing", which is basically same with "dead", you will lose all your gear. This is one of the many reasons to start using interactive maps Escape from Tarkov, which reflect all the exits from different locations. In addition, many interactives can display quest materials, necessary keys, spawns PMCs, scavs, spawns of loot, other cool stuff. Next I will make a list of the best EFT maps, as well as list their advantages and nuances.
Interactive map of Tarkov (shore, lighthouse, junction and others)
Here I will voice the best in my opinion interactive maps. This does not mean that you should use only them. The Internet is full of similar maps that can be much more informative. Now let's move on to the list itself.Map from Tarkov Help (epicentre, factory and customs only)
This interactive in my opinion is one of the most convenient, as you have a filter of containers, things, enemies and exits at your fingertips. Also the map is in my experience the smoothest map I've ever used, even with all items selected in the filters. Drawn in a very detailed and minimalistic way, it's super easy to navigate based on small snippets like cars on the road or fences, which will be very helpful for newer players. The main nuance of Tarkov Help is the need for a subscription to gain access to other locations. For free you can view only the factory, customs and ground zero, which, in my opinion, is enough for new PMCs.

Map from Tarkov Dev
Another similar map, but already from other guys. Unlike the last one - completely free, but with its own problems: not the most convenient filters, poor smoothness even with all disabled icons. There are two unique ways of displaying: abstract (figurative drawing of locs) and satellite (rendering locs from the top view). It may seem difficult for newbies, but if you are already an experienced Tarkov player, navigate raids on your own, here you can look up the necessary spawns of bots, loot, places to complete quests.

Map from EFT SU
The most beautiful, three-dimensional interactive map with interesting design/layout is the map from EFT.SU, which I used when I started playing. You can easily search for exits on it, they are signed, the map "reads" much easier than the others, but if you are an experienced player, it is unlikely to help you in any way, because it does not show filters on spawns and tasks.
