The ability to trade items in steam has opened up for many players not just the opportunity to diversify the cards and skins in their inventory, but also to earn money from it. In the world of video games, especially in games like CS2, trading has become an important part of the gameplay experience. In this article, I will explain why it is so important to have a separate CS trade account, break down the process of creation and explain how to secure it from blocking the exchange.

What is a CS2 trade account?
First of all, it is necessary to explain that the trade is an exchange of things from the inventories of the two steam accounts. Accordingly, a CS2 trade account is a steem account for trading items from CS 2, on which you will store all knives, gloves and other skins, separate from your main profile.

Why is it so important to have a separate Steam account?
The Steam platform is not a trading exchange and prohibits any commercial activity, which means that active trading of CS skins can lead to the blocking of the account. Once you have an increased number of items in circulation, it is worth thinking about creating another steam account, if you are worried about the safety of the main one.

Types of bans in Steam
  • community ban;
  • temporary exchange blocking (tradeban);
  • permanent trade ban;
In this list, I have only touched on the types of blocking that can threaten for abusing exchanges in steam. Of course, there are others that are issued for the use of cheats, etc., so you can not worry about them, it does not threaten us.

How to properly register a CS trade account?
90% of success in your endeavors is a properly registered account. Steam does not like suspicious activity, so from our side it is necessary to convince him that we are ordinary players of CS 2, like millions of other steam users. You will need to create a profile from a clean IP address, using a new email and phone number. For registration you can use your own, but in no case do not touch the popular VPN services, it is a mistake. I recommend choosing Gmail, as the service allows you to create it without specifying the number. Phone is easily rented for a cheap (around 1 eur), but I would recommend spending on another personal SIM card, it will cost a few hundred more, but will greatly reduce the risk of losing your account in the future. For Steam Guard you can use Steam Desktop Authenticator (SDA), the application allows you to get Steam Guard codes and confirm exchanges directly from your PC, but just a week ago it stopped support and the author of the program recommends to go to the official mobile application of Steam. I also advise you to create separate profiles for your trade accounts in Chrome.

How to properly prepare a CS2 trade account?
So, you have created a new steem account, using a clean ip, a new email and phone number. Your activity plays an important role. With a steam level 3 and 10 minutes in the CS your inventory of several thousand dollars looks pretty suspicious, right? I recommend to fill your profile a little bit: increase the level of the account, 20-30 looks not so bad, add a couple of showcases, join groups, buy a few games, play KC 2, finally. Playing is optional by the way, you can rack up at least a hundred hours using HourBoostr, ArchieSteamFarm (ASF) or any other program. All this will take some time, and the level will come out to you in ~10 eur, now your CS trade account looks much more convincing. It's not such a big expense if you want to actively trade skins.

Conclusion
We've gone over the basics and nuances that will minimally protect your main and trade steam accounts from red flag and trade ban. Good luck in your endeavors!
