Giveaway Epic Games Store Free Game Giveaway: Pilgrims and Keylocker Turn Based Cyberpunk Action

Epic Games started their free games giveaway, and this time we got two pretty interesting adventure games at once. Epic is giving away for free the turn-based cyberpunk JRPG Keylocker and adventure quest Pilgrims from legendary Amanita Design. Both games can be claimed until August 7th 6:00 PM GMT, so there's enough time before this freebie ends.

Keylocker Free Game Giveaway on Epic​

Keylocker | Turn Based Cyberpunk Action is quite unusual hybrid of rhythm game and turn-based jRPG from Moonana studio. The game takes us to Saturn planet, where music got banned. We play as singer B0B0, who decided to fight the system through illegal concerts and creating underground band.

What makes Keylocker special is combining classic JRPG mechanics with rhythm elements. Combat happens on hexagonal grid, where you need not only move tactically, but also hit the rhythm for critical strikes.

On Steam the game got pretty solid 89% positive reviews. People praise original concept and quality music, though many note that controls need getting used to.

Pilgrims Game Giveaway in Epic Games Store​

Pilgrims is new adventure from Czech studio Amanita Design, who gave us such hits like Machinarium, Samorost and Botanicula, which were given away for free on Epic before. The game got absolutely crazy 96% positive reviews on Steam, which speaks for itself.

Gameplay is built on simple mechanic - all characters and items turn into cards, which can be combined together in many different ways. Story tells about traveler who must catch bird to trade it for boat. But main feature is variability of playthrough and 45 unique achievements.

Players note that Pilgrims is quite short - first playthrough takes about one hour. But thanks to many ways of solving puzzles and secret combinations, you will want to replay it for sure.
