Hey everyone again! Another gift that Epic Games Store prepared for us today too – is that until February 13, you can grab Beyond Blue for free, a cool story-driven exploration game about the mysteries of the ocean. In Steam, it costs 5$, the game is cool, why not play for an evening?

What this kind of game?​

Beyond Blue is a dive (literally!) into the depths of the World Ocean. You play as Mirai, a scientist-oceanologist who studies marine life, communicates with whales, admires coral reefs, and uncovers the secrets of underwater ecosystems. The game was made with real marine biologists and BBC documentarians, so here you’ll find not only beautiful landscapes but also educational content – for example, audio recordings with facts about each creature.

A: Everything is intuitive – swim, take photos of fish, explore locations. No bosses or shooting, just relax and learning.

Q: How long does it take to complete?​

A: The main story is about 4-6 hours. But if you want to find all artifacts and listen to lectures on marine biology, feel free to add a couple more hours!

Q: Is this a diving simulator or a story-driven game?​

A: Both! The story revolves around Mirai’s personal drama and her relationship with family, but at the same time, you’ll be saving whales, avoiding dangerous currents, and even facing environmental problems.

Q: Can you replay after finishing?​

A: Yes – you can return to any point in the ocean in free mode and continue exploring.

Q: What are the system requirements?​

A: The game is light: even an old PC or laptop with a GTX 750-level video card will be enough.
